Hit the shops in Andorra

To get the most out of your experience, you’ll need to know some practical information, such as store opening hours and holidays.

Shopping in Andorra

Andorra measures just 468 km2, but it has more than a thousand shops spread over several shopping areas. You can choose from the latest trends in fashion and accessories, premium cosmetics and perfumery and the most refined jewelry and watches, not to mention everything you need to enjoy sports and driving. The most discerning and tech-savvy shoppers will also find what they’re looking for in specialist shops.

Below, we detail the shopping areas you can visit in each of the country’s seven parishes.

Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany

This is where most of Andorra’s shops are concentrated. Here, you’ll find The Shopping Mile, the 1.5 km shopping street with pedestrian zones, made up of Avenida Meritxell and Fener Boulevard in Andorra la Vella and Vivand and Avinguda Carlemany in Escaldes-Engordany.

In the capital, you’ll also find other shopping areas, like the old town, the Riberaygua i Travesseres neighbourhood with its local shops, and Santa Coloma, where you’ll find most of the shops specialising in the world of cars and motorbikes. Meanwhile, in Escaldes-Engordany, you can wander around local shops in its upper part and old town.

Encamp and Pas de la Casa

In Encamp, in addition to the centre of the parish where local shops and specialist sports shops are concentrated, there’s another of the country's great shopping zones: Pas de la Casa. In this town up in the mountains, you’ll find shopping centres, perfumeries and sports stores.

Canillo, La Massana and Ordino

In the rest of the country’s high-altitude parishes, CanilloLa Massana and Ordino, you’ll find a full range of services in the local shops in their town centres. As they are close to the ski resorts, they also host much of the sport retail offer, both for skiing in winter and for mountain activities in summer.

Sant Julià de Lòria

Finally, the parish of Sant Julià de Lòria is home to the largest number of shopping centres and establishments specialising in cycling.
