Are you up for it?

The first thing you do when you arrive in a new place is to get to know the local area, its history and, of course, its people. When you come to Andorra, we want to offer you something extra. We want you to enjoy yourself like never before, while discovering our culture and heritage.

You probably already know that there are countless things to do here, such as hiking, horse riding, among other activities. However, what if we told you that your possibilities are virtually endless? What if we told you that we have the most incredible, crazy and exclusive experiences you could ever imagine? Would you try them?

If this sounds like you thing and you are looking for more fun, excitement and adventure, don't miss out on what we have in store for you.

Follow the ridges to the top!

They say that climbing a mountain is like standing on top of the world. But how about instead of just reaching the summit, you follow the ridges of the entire massif? Take my word for it, if you've never tried it, it's one of the most amazing experiences our mountains have to offer.

From the lowest to the highest, you can explore the most breathtaking ridges in the country. The best part? Getting to the top!  Just remember that before you set off, make sure you check the weather conditions along your route and that you are fully equipped with everything you need for your safety, including a harness, safety rope, appropriate footwear and clothing, food and drink, and, above all, a detailed knowledge of the terrain you will be covering.

In Andorra, you can do this on your own or with the help of our professional guides. Once you're all geared up, you'll be ready for one of the most exhilarating adventures of your life!

Ordino's solar mountain

A trip up to the Tristaina viewpoint offers a truly rewarding and one-of-a-kind experience, not only because of the gigantic sundial that stands over 2,700 metres above sea level, but also because of the lush vegetation, lakes and views you'll enjoy along the way. With two ways to access the viewpoint, either by cable car or on foot (or snowshoes or skis in winter), the choice is yours.

However, that's not all, as you'll also have the chance to witness one of the most fascinating natural phenomena of the year. Every 7 August, at 7:37 in the morning, the sun rises to a perfect position that allows it to pass through a huge hole hidden between the rocks at the top of Arcalís, projecting an immense flash of light that can be seen from the Tristaina viewpoint.

This spectacular sight will remain etched in your memory!

Mindful hiking

Picture yourself walking along long trails steeped in peace, calm and well-being, amidst the wildest vegetation and with only the silence for company. Doesn't sound too bad, right? We're quite clear about it, and ever more committed.

Our mindful trails not only let you enjoy a moment alone with your inner child, but also fill your lungs with some of the purest air in the world. Furthermore, throughout the entire route, your can focus your full attention on your surroundings: listening to birds singing, the wind rustling through the trees, the sound of leaves crunching under your feet. A whole range of sensations that will wash over you and fill you with a sense of well-being and inner peace, allowing you to find your quiet place.

Take a moment to pause, just for you, to reconnect with your true self and return to your pure essence.

Cross the border at over 2,000 metres above sea level

As you already know, over 90% of Andorra is covered by untouched nature. Our natural heritage is shaped by numerous mountains, peaks, lakes and endless trails to explore.  Now we're inviting you to take it one step further. We want your passion for hiking to cross borders, literally.

In Andorra, there are numerous GR (long-distance) trails that not only cross the entire country, but some even cross the borders with our neighbouring countries: France and Spain. These routes include the GRP, which runs close to both borders without crossing them; the GR11 and GR7, which begin and end in Spanish territory; and the GRT, which begins and ends in France, to name a few.

However, you don't always have to follow a GR, as Andorra has numerous routes that will also get you close to the two borders, including the Estanys de Juclà route, the Port Negre to Sant Julia de Lòria routes and the Estanys Forcats route.

As you can appreciate, there is no shortage of options in Andorra. The range of activities available here extends from the most relaxing to the most adventurous. This time, we have selected some of the most original options for you to enjoy a unique few days filled with different activities and experiences. However, this is just a small sample of everything waiting to be seen and done with us!

So, have you made up your mind? You are coming?
